Every corner of the city and its towns becomes a stage, and each day brings something new to discover: concerts, markets, light shows, family activities, exhibitions, food events, and special initiatives.

Como: “Como…Che Incanto!” 2025

Opening hours: Friday and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. / Sunday to Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Como kicks off the Christmas season with “Como… Che Incanto!“, which from November 22 will light up the center with projections, markets, and activities for families. The ”Magic Light Festival” returns to transform squares and monuments into luminous backdrops: Duomo, Broletto, Palazzo Terragni, Teatro Sociale, Porta Torre, Piazza San Fedele and Piazza Volta, Piazza Medaglie d’oro comasche, and Pinacoteca civica.
In Piazza Perretta, there will be a market with 25 stalls dedicated to food, crafts, and local products, while another stall will host entertainment activities. In Piazza Grimoldi, three stands will be reserved for sports and volunteering.
The usual ice rink will be open from November 22, while the large Christmas tree in Piazza Duomo was lit on November 29. The beautiful Giostra dei Cavallini carousel will also be there, located at Porta Torre (Monday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. / Holidays and days before holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.).
Music also plays an important role in Christmas in Como: from December 1 to 24, the magic of Christmas comes to life every evening in Piazza Duomo at 6:00 p.m. with the “Calend’Arie dell’Avvento”, melodies leading up to Christmas. in addition, to make the atmosphere unique, Christmas songs are broadcast on the streets of the city center (Monday to Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. /fSaturday and Sunday rom 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. ).

Brienno: Christmas Markets
Location: Brienno (CO)
Dates: 29–30 November + 6–7–8 December 2025
Opening hours: 11:00 – 21:00
Under the arches and narrow alleys of Brienno, the famous “Mercatini di Natale sotto i Portici”, now in their eleventh edition, return again this year. Overlooking the lake, the village offers a truly unique atmosphere: soft lights, the smell of mulled wine, and artisanal stalls selling handmade objects, decorations, and local specialties.
Food stands will serve traditional dishes such as onion soup, tripe, hamburgers, crêpes, hot chocolate, and apple fritters.
Children can enjoy the Santa Claus House, while guided tours of the Puncett Mine Gallery will be available from 14:00 to 17:00.

Cernobbio: “Il Natale che unisce” 2025

Cernobbio presents “Il Natale che unisce” from December 6, 2025 to January 6, 2026, a widespread series of events that will involve the entire area.
For more than a month, residents and visitors will be able to enjoy markets, creative workshops, concerts, street performances, solidarity initiatives, and cultural events.
The festive lights will transform Cernobbio into a glowing path connecting the various neighborhoods.
The official lighting ceremony will take place on December 6 at 5:00 PM at Villa Bernasconi.
The Nativity tradition is also celebrated with the well-known permanent Olzino Nativity scene in Piazza Santo Stefano and with the Nativity Scene Competition, whose award ceremony will be held on January 6.

Christmas Market in Via 5 Giornate, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
“A spasso con Babbo Natale”, organized by Amici di Cernobbio, accompanied by the Rovenna Band.
Christmas Market along Via 5 Giornate, which will be pedestrian-only for the day.
At 3:00 PM, near the “Asilo Bernasconi” area, children can deliver their letters to Santa Claus.
At 5:30 PM, the Library will host the show Per un pugno di libri with Alessandro Tacconi.
- December 13, 2025 Live Nativity Scene in Piazza Santo Stefano, featuring kindergarten and catechism children.

“Natale a Villa Erba”
A festive day inside the beautiful exhibition space of Villa Erba, with music as the main theme.
The day will begin in the central pavilion at 10:00 AM with musical performances by local schools.
In the afternoon, at 5:00 PM, also in the central pavilion, the concert Como Classica: Coldplay & Queen: Christmas Experience will take place.

Albiolo: La Casa di Babbo Natale (Santa Claus House)

The “Casa di Babbo Natale” (Santa Claus House) of Via Quarto dei Mille 3 in Albiolo lights up once again with over 50,000 lights — all for charity.
The lighting ceremony will take place at 16:00 on Saturday 29 November, while celebrations start at 15:00 with Christmas markets, workshops, face painting, pony rides for children, and food stands offering sweet and savory treats. As always, all proceeds will be donated to “Casa di Gabri” by Agorà 97, a socio-health community for minors with severe disabilities and high-complexity care needs.

With the opening of the ice skating rink and the Christmas tree, Lecco launches its festive season. The markets fill Piazza XX Settembre and Piazza Cermenati with artisanal and local products.
The highlight event is “Lights on Lecco”, the projection show that from 22 November 2025 to 7 January 2026 illuminates the facades of the historic center. The program includes concerts, family entertainment, and the Christmas tree in Piazza Cermenati.
