PARCO CIANI – Great Garden of Lugano

The park of Villa Ciani is the civic park of the city of Lugano, dear to the Lugano and ideal for walking along lake, enjoying a moment of relaxation and tranquility from the city.

The park is full of gardens, oaks, olive trees, plane trees, limes, palm trees, horns, camellias and azaleas, a sight for the eyes to be admired in spring during flowering. 

Other facilities such as Villa Ciani, the Cantonal Museum and the Cantonal Library are present in the park area.

Overlooking the banks of the Ceresio, with its 63,000 square meters. the green lung of the city, a place of quiet walks, where you can’t remain impassive to the charm aroused by the imposing centuries-old trees.
